1.The Forbidden City
The Forbidden City has a long history since Ming Dynasty which is three hundreds years ago. It is the palace where the emperors and his wives leave, so it is splendid and grand. It is luxury in Qing Dynasty. Most of the buildings in the Forbidden City had been rebuilt many times, in order to maintained the original architectural styles. It is the symbol of power and authority in old ancient China.
2.Tiananmen Square
This is a square courtyard which is located at the cross-section. It measures about 110.000 square meters. This large courtyard now is used for some significant National Day's party. People who come to Beijing go to the Square, whether they are Chinese or foreigners. It is especially holly in the heart of Chinese people. In Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, Tiananmen was used for some important ceremonies, such as conferring of the title of empress.
